Review: Regent Theatre Let It Be
FANS of the classic hits of the Beatles will love the musical tribute to them showing at the Regent theatre this week. It showcases the music of the world’s most successful rock’n’roll band from their beginnings in Liverpool’s Cavern Club, through to the height of Beatlemania and then, to their later studio tracks
Hits include I Wanna Hold Your Hand, Hard Day’s Night, Day Tripper, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, Strawberry Fields and When I’m 64, to name just a few, the show is a non-stop step back into the hits and the encore is fantastic! Don’t be fooled into thinking that the audience is an elderly one, some youngsters were in Hanley last night, enjoying the sounds on offer.
Let It Be has delighted audiences around the world, including New York, Germany and Monaco, with upcoming dates in Japan and Moscow. The UK tour is produced by Jamie Hendry Productions and Annerin Productions.
