Sophia Baker, Head of Fundraising commented:

“The Soul and Motown Show is set to be a fantastic night and with international stars performing it is one not to miss!

“Without the support of our community, we simply could not continue to run our services for families such as Randy’s in Staffordshire and Cheshire. We need to raise £250,000 a year to exist.”

She continued:

“Our lottery funding of £100,000 is coming to an end this year and we urgently need to replace those funds. The only way we can is through the support of fundraising in our community and corporate sponsorship.”

The Peter Pan Nursery based in Newcastle-under-Lyme provides education and support to children with special needs aged 0-5 years and their families.

It is the only setting of its kind in the region offering one-to-one and one-to-two educational support for children who have a wide range of disabilities, conditions and syndromes; such as Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Visual and Hearing Impairments, Physical delays and Speech and Language delays.

The Soul and Motown show is set to start at 7pm at the Vic on the Square in Hanley. Tickets cost £10 which includes live performances from Randy Corwood and Tameka Jackson and a buffet.
