Having been beaten comfortably by Leeds United on the opening weekend of the season, Gary Rowett expected an improved display against a Brentford side who stuck five past Rotherham United in their curtain raiser a week earlier.
Sadly, it was to be another disappointing 90 minutes despite  taking the lead through Benik Afobe’s second goal in as many games midway through the first-half, a gift and the only time the Bees keeper was called into action!

Watkins and Josh McEachran combined  and Watkins shot from 25-yards which flew past the fingers of Butland  right in front of the travelling 1300 or so visiting supporters. In truth, we were lucky to get a draw and the Premier League looks a long way off!
