People will have the chance to see The Regent Theatre like never before when the venue opens its doors for an Open Day on Saturday, 27 July.

The event, which includes free entry, will feature backstage tours and technical workshops – and a chance to discover the secrets of the theatre.

There will also be afternoon tea and refreshments on offer during the day.

The day will give people the chance to see the theatre in a completely different light.

Andrew Nicklin, General Manager of The Regent Theatre, said:

“We are delighted to give people the chance to come to the theatre and see it like never before.

“There will be something for everyone on the day and I would urge people to take a backstage tour and see how we create all the special effects.

“Those who visit will be able to see first hand what a fantastic venue The Regent Theatre is and how proud the area should be of it.”

Backstage tours take place at 10.30am, 12pm, 1.30pm and 3.30pm. Those who wish to take part in a tour should email stokebomanager@theambassadors.com for more details and to book.
